What does a turbocharger or supercharger do?
Put simply, it's a mod that can make an engine more powerful for performance applications, increasing its horsepower, torque, speed, and efficiency. For a car with a smaller engine, the ride can become more exciting. For a truck with a larger one, it can become more capable. Both work by compressing excess air flowing into the engine cylinders; this makes it so that the engine can take in more air and fuel.
