All About Mitsubishi Hoses & Clamps
The hoses in your Mitsubishi circulate fluids in its cooling system. The clamps in it help keep the hoses from leaking or disconnecting. So, if some hose (the radiator hose, for example) cracks, breaks, or wears out, or some clamp (like a worm gear clamp, spring clamp, or T-bolt clamp) breaks, then some cooling system part or another will most likely stop working.

Fourth, keep an eye on the fasteners on the clamps; they start to go bad, and you'll need to replace them, sooner rather than later.
